Customer Case: fritz-kola - Empowering International Growth with Pimcore

About

In 2002, two friends founded fritz-kola with a vision to create a new cola brand that could rival the big brewing companies. With determination and a few thousand euros, they started from scratch, and now fritz-kola is an established brand in Germany, both in B2C and B2B. The challenge was to extend this success to the international market, with a primary focus on B2B and B2C.

Case Description

fritz-kola partnered with Pimcore Platinum Partner “Elbkapitäne” to develop an international website that effectively conveys the brand’s founding story and showcases why fritz-kola is worth promoting internationally. The website’s main goal is to engage potential B2B dealers and distributors in an inviting and impactful way. Pimcore’s DXP/CMS, PIM/MDM, and DAM solutions were utilized to build the platform.

The international B2B website of fritz-kola was designed to be recognizable, clean, clear, and structured. Black and white dominate the site, while the individual products stand out in color. Pimcore’s flexibility allowed for simple and intuitive maintenance of products, with recurring elements like product groups and properties only requiring one-time maintenance. The multilingual feature was implemented to accommodate future language additions.

Results

The fritz-kola.com website now successfully caters to both B2B and B2C audiences. The site features parallax effects and interactive elements, adding a touch of coolness and uniqueness. Thanks to Pimcore’s platform and easy content management, the website showcases fritz-kola as a strong and popular brand in the scene. With the implementation in progress, there are plans to exchange the English version of the B2C site, further enhancing the brand’s international presence.
