DynamicWeb Summit 2024 in Hamburg: The Future of PIM

DynamicWeb announced Summit 2024 for 24 and 25 October at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Hamburg. Partners and practitioners were invited for sessions on the product. From 23 to 25 October the program also included training and certification on DynamicWeb 10.
What was on the agenda
Three tracks: Tech Talks, Business Cases, and Partner Presentations. That split covers the platform, how teams use it commercially, and partner work. The announced shape:
- Two conference days, with technical, business, and partner sessions.
- Early-bird tickets until 1 August.
- An evening with a three-course dinner and an awards ceremony for work inside the DynamicWeb community.
- A DynamicWeb 10 prelude that ends in certification.
The rest of the value in the announcement is the room. Implementation relationships still start when partners meet in person.
What it says about PIM work
A vendor summit with certification on the current release means the platform work is deep enough that partners are expected to be trained on it. For PIM and ecommerce teams, the useful part is that mix of product training and partner cases.
