How we handle personal data for the directory, diagnostics, booking, and newsletter.

This privacy notice for Pimvendors.com B.V. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share (“process”) your information when you use our services (“Services”), such as when you visit https://pimvendors.com or contact us about advisory work, events, or the PIM directory.

If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the Services. Questions: info@pimvendors.com.

Summary

  • We process the contact and business details you give us, diagnostic answers, booking context, newsletter signups, and technical usage data.
  • We do not process special-category (sensitive) personal data.
  • We do not buy personal data from brokers. We receive data from you, from your browser when you visit, and from processors who host or operate the Services for us.
  • We do not sell your personal data. We share it with processors who run the site for us, and with a vendor only when you ask for an introduction.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing info@pimvendors.com.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is Pimvendors.com B.V., Henriëtte van der Meystraat 24, 1963 DJ Heemskerk, Netherlands. KvK 78344999. VAT NL861357759B01. Email: info@pimvendors.com. Phone: +316 490 005 59.

2. What information we collect

Information you provide

We collect personal information you volunteer when you request results from a diagnostic, book a call, subscribe to the newsletter, claim a vendor profile, or otherwise contact us. Depending on the form, that can include:

  • Name and work email address
  • Company name and role
  • Phone number, if you share one
  • Diagnostic answers and the estimates or shortlists we derive
  • Booking notes attached to a scheduling request
  • Messages you send us by email or form

All information you provide should be accurate. Please tell us if it changes.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Services we automatically collect technical data that does not, on its own, identify you by name: IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar log data. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the site, and for analytics when those tags are enabled.

3. Why we process it

We process personal information to:

  • Deliver directory pages, diagnostic results, and requested follow-up
  • Respond to advisory inquiries and schedule calls
  • Send newsletters and briefings you asked for
  • Attribute outbound visits when you leave to a vendor website
  • Keep the Services secure and diagnose errors
  • Comply with law and defend legal claims
  • Improve the Services, including understanding which pages are useful

We process this information only when we have a valid legal basis: consent (for newsletters and optional marketing), performance of a request you initiate (diagnostics, bookings, profile claims), and legitimate interests in operating an independent B2B directory and answering business inquiries. You may withdraw consent at any time; that does not affect processing already carried out.

4. When we share information

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our instructions, under contract, and only for the work we ask them to do:

  • Hosting and delivery of the website (currently Vercel)
  • Scheduling (Lunacal) when you book a call through the site
  • Email automation (Encharge) for newsletters and requested assets
  • Workflow / CRM automation (Make.com) when those connections are configured
  • Analytics (Google Tag Manager and/or Google Analytics) when those tags are enabled

We may also share information:

  • With a PIM vendor, only when you ask us to introduce you or to connect you for a demo
  • If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others
  • In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to this notice or an equivalent policy

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies where needed to run the Services (for example a short-lived cookie that records a legacy URL redirect so we can measure cutover). When analytics tags are configured, Google Tag Manager and/or Google Analytics may set cookies to measure pages viewed, 404s, and redirect follow-through.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually refuse or delete them in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some features. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because there is no single adopted standard for them.

6. International transfers

We are established in the Netherlands. Some processors (including hosting and analytics providers) may store or process data in other countries, including the United States. Where those countries do not have an adequacy decision from the European Commission, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the measures our processors publish.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this notice, unless a longer period is required for tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Inquiry and diagnostic data is kept for follow-up and then deleted or anonymized. Newsletter contacts remain until you unsubscribe. When we no longer need the data, we delete it or isolate it in backups until deletion is possible.

8. How we keep information safe

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You should only use the Services from a trusted environment.

9. Children

The Services are for business use. We do not knowingly collect data from or market to anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such data, contact info@pimvendors.com and we will delete it.

10. Your privacy rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

To exercise these rights, email info@pimvendors.com. We will respond in line with applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with your local supervisory authority in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

If you are in California, you may also request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold about you, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. Send requests to info@pimvendors.com.
