Ibexa Acquires Majority Stake in Quable, French PIM Vendor

· 2025-01-23 · Updated 2026-10-17 · 2 min read

Ibexa, a digital experience platform (DXP) vendor, became the majority shareholder of the French PIM vendor Quable. The two companies announced it on 17 December 2024. The stake size and deal value were not disclosed.

What was announced

  • Parties: Ibexa (DXP, part of the QNTM Group) acquires a majority stake in Quable (PIM).
  • Independence: Quable keeps its operational independence in defining its PIM product, and gains access to Ibexa's international scale and resources.
  • Stated rationale: Quable CEO François-Emmanuel Lamellière sees the combination as a way to win international customers while keeping Quable's identity and expertise.
  • Ibexa today: Ibexa reports more than 80 certified partners and clients such as Essilor, Groupe Atlantic and Avène. These are Ibexa's own figures.

Why it matters

Our reading: content, commerce and product data are being sold as one suite, and a DXP vendor buying a PIM is one way to get there. Whether Quable stays a standalone PIM or becomes the PIM module of the Ibexa stack is not settled by the announcement. The deal is one of several in the PIM market acquisitions and funding timeline.

What buyers should check

  • If you do not use Ibexa, ask Quable for its roadmap and whether the product stays available on its own.
  • If you run Ibexa, ask in writing what integration exists today and what is planned.
  • Ask about support, pricing and contract terms after the ownership change.
