Mappio live demo: map supplier files to your PIM once

On September 30, 2026, Stephan Spijkers hosted Tomas Hesseling, Co-Founder of Mappio, for a live session on supplier data onboarding. Tomas demoed how Mappio maps a supplier spreadsheet to Ergonode, Akeneo or Pimcore in a drag-and-drop flow editor, routes every new file through a dedicated intake email address, and halts the import when a supplier changes the file structure.

For PIM buyers, the session exposes the gap most selection processes skip. PIM platforms manage enrichment and publication well, but the step before that, turning supplier files into PIM-ready data, still runs on manual work in most organizations. One retailer Tomas spoke with receives 99% of data from its 150 suppliers as Excel files and keeps two people normalizing them full time. Budget for supplier onboarding as part of the PIM business case, or that headcount stays on the payroll after go-live.
