Purify Demo: The Orchestration Layer Still Needs a Person on the Rules

An orchestration layer can run product-data checks between systems. It does not own the rules. That is the buyer point from the Purify lightning demo with John Deprez, founder and CEO of Purify.
The recording:
Speakers:
- Stephan Spijkers, Co-Founder, PIMvendors.com
- John Deprez, founder and CEO, Purify
Deprez presented Purify as a machine-to-machine platform for product data quality. The session placed it next to the usual mess: data arrives from several sources, much of it is not fit to publish, and a person still has to say which checks may run without a signature. He described a price that follows results and usage. This page has no rate card, so ask for one before you compare it with a licence.
The session used Carrefour as a live example of the platform on a real catalog. It did not publish a before-and-after here. Treat the name as a prompt to request the case, not as proof.
What you take into a demo on your own files:
- Which checks the agent runs alone: name them. A quality score with no rule behind it is a dashboard.
- Which checks a person still signs: returns, claims and marketplace rejections usually sit here.
- What the usage price does at your volume: results-based pricing only helps if you can see the meter.
The split between a check a system may run and a check a person still signs is the work in product data quality and governance. What has to be true in the record before an agent answers a shopper is set out in AI-ready product data. Where an outside layer stops and the PIM's own models start is the boundary in what AI inside a PIM actually does. Put that boundary in the script before the shortlist, which is the sequence in how to select the right PIM.
